Michael Jordan
Arguably one of the best basketball players to ever play the game, Michael "Air" Jordan is a sports icon. In addition to the big bucks he made as a player, Jordan has amassed quite a fortune from corporate sponsorships.
Given his wealth, it's no surprise Jordan's former home is something extravagant. The bells and whistles begin with the iron gate that secures the property, which features Jordan's iconic jersey number: 23. Inside the enormous compound there is an indoor tennis court, putting green, deep water pond and three climate-controlled garages with space for 15 cars.
The home itself measures more than 56,000 square feet and has nine bedrooms, 15 full bathrooms, four half baths, five fireplaces and -- of course -- access to a full-size indoor basketball court.
Jordan's Highland Park, Ill., home is currently for sale, and could be yours for a cool $29 million.

Antoine Walker
A three-time NBA All Star, Antoine Walker has had his ups and downs both personally and professionally. Unfortunately, some of his bad behavior and bad luck has led to financial difficulties.
In 2010, Walker's Tinley Park, Ill., home fell into foreclosure and was ruined when the utilities were shut off and the basement filled with water. The home is currently being restored by MACK Companies, an Illinois-based real estate investment firm. It is set to hit the market at $1.79 million, a discount of more than $2 million off the original cost.
The home spans 13,000 square feet and offers nine bedrooms and baths, marble floors, a basketball court and luxurious finishes throughout.

Mike Miller
Miami Heat forward Mike Miller was voted NBA Rookie of the Year in 2001, and has since signed a multi-million dollar contract with the Heat.
He spent some of those millions on a home in Pompano Beach, Fla. The home cost a reported $5.4 million, according to Realtor.com, and is currently listed for sale at $8.995 million. Miller listed the home back in November, when the NBA lockout threatened to keep him out of work for an entire season.
Both the interior and exterior of the home are lavish. The home sits on the waterfront and features views of the Atlantic Ocean. It also has its own private boat dock and an outdoor pool with a swim-up wet bar. Inside, the six bedroom, nine bathroom home measures 9,968 square feet and boasts cathedral ceilings, marble floors, a media room and two master bathrooms.

Jason Kidd
A 10-time NBA All Star and member of the 2011 NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks, Jason Kidd is a pro-basketball legend. Like the other stars on this list, Kidd is paid very well for his talent.
In late 2011, TMZ reported that Kidd put his Dallas, Texas, condo on the market for $1.595 million. He reportedly paid $1.5 million for it back in 2008.
The three bedroom, four bathroom condo sits on the 21st floor and has great views of downtown. It measures more than 2,600 square feet and features a gourmet kitchen, huge windows and a private balcony with fireplace. The home comes with its own four car garage.

Amar'e Stoudemire
Amar'e Stoudemire's basketball career has been filled with accolades: He was the only high school player picked in the 2002 NBA draft, voted NBA Rookie of the Year in 2003 and is a six-time NBA All Star.
If his new home is any indication, Stoudemire's NBA star status and entrepreneurial efforts are bringing in good money. Zillow reports he recently purchased a 12,000 square-foot ranch home near Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
The home features six bedrooms, six-and-a-half baths, a gourmet kitchen and high-end finishes throughout. It also has a nine car garage. According to Zillow, Stoudemire also rents a condo in New York for $37,500 a month.
