TVUSD board members vote to adopt new curriculum, despite weeks of controversial rejections

After months of back-and-forth with California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Temecula Valley Unified School District board members have finally voted to adopt a new state-endorsed social studies curriculum that they had previously rejected twice for its mention of gay rights activist Harvey Milk.
