Jennifer Barrick is a civil engineer for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power managing the overhaul of the segment of the Los Angeles Aqueduct, known as The Cascades. Barrick said her work as an aqueduct manager relies on her knowledge of science, engineering and math.
