PCH in Malibu shut down after alleged assault on deputy during traffic stop leads to standoff
Deputies were in a standoff lasting more than five hours Wednesday morning, leading to a shutdown of a stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. It all started with a traffic stop, when authorities say the suspect allegedly assaulted a deputy and then refused to be arrested when they found out he has a warrant out.
