Onlookers gather at The Wedge in Newport Beach as high-powered swells hit SoCal
The National Weather Service issued a High Surf Advisory for all south-facing beaches along the Southern California Coast on Tuesday, expected to last through Thursday. While for many, that may mean avoiding the ocean, Tina Patel found dozens of people enjoying the high-powered swells in Newport Beach, despite the danger.
