Mountain High ski resort saved by snow-making machines during Bridge Fire
The Bridge Fire exploded in the Wrightwood community Tuesday evening, growing to 47,904 acres Wednesday morning with 0% containment. Flames reached the Mountain High ski resort, but staff turned on the snow-makers to dampen the vegetation, keeping flames away.
