Memorial plaque for fallen Huntington Beach police officer Nicholas Vella unveiled
On the one-year anniversary of his death, Huntington Beach and Newport Beach communities came together to unveil a memorial plaque for Nicholas Vella, the officer who was killed in a helicopter crash in 2022.
