Los Angeles leaders react to Newsom's order calling for clearing of homeless encampments
Mayor Karen Bass and other Los Angeles leaders have spoken out since Gov. Gavin Newsom issued an executive order calling for local governments across California to clear outdoor encampments of people living in tents. Some have criticized it as unfairly penalizing those struggling with homelessness.
