LAPD chief shows concerning uptick in 2022 homicide rate

Recent crime stats show an alarming trend: Last month was the deadliest April for Los Angeles in four years due to homicides, with 36 reported. This is compared to 21 homicides last year and 24 in 2020, Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michel Moore said Tuesday.
