Monday afternoon with some heating in the deserts and mountain communities there is a chance for a thunderstorm.
Expect a little more marine layer and temperatures dropping down slightly below average.
Basin temperatures will top out in the upper 80s and low 90s Wednesday. Valleys could reach triple digits by Thursday.
Just in time for the weekend, Mother Nature is settling down. It should be nice with moderate temperatures just below average.
Temperatures Thursday will be similar to Wednesday, maybe a degree or two warmer in spots because of the early sunshine.
There's chances for isolated t-storms in some parts of the Southland Wednesday. The marine layer over the basin should break up for hazy sunshine in the afternoon.
As promised, some cooler weather is upon us. An upper level approaching from the north has helped to thicken the marine layer up Tuesday morning.
After well above average temperatures, expect a bit of a cool down this work week for Southern California as an upper level low approaches the region.
Expect more of the same into the weekend — clouds in the morning and sunshine for the afternoon. Temperatures will continue to run very slightly below the seasonal averages.
There's a bit of a thicker marine layer Thursday morning running at about 1,800 feet deep. That will keep daytime highs 3 to 5 degrees below average for this time of year. But expect good clearing for a lovely afternoon.
Wednesday afternoon should be quite nice with temperatures in the low 80s in the basin to upper 80s & low 90s inland. Coastal communities will be hovering in the mid to upper 70s.
It should be a pleasant work week after a nasty weekend. Temperatures Tuesday will be running just a bit below average.

Well it's another warm and muggy day Thursday for Southern California. In fact for inland valleys it might even be a degree warmer than Wednesday.
