Police are expected to arrest "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett in a criminal investigation into an alleged attack on the actor last month, CBS News reported Wednesday night.
The posters are spoofs of the Oscar-nominated movies "BlacKkKlansman" and "Black Panther."
Smollett, who is black and gay, said he was physically attacked last month by two masked men shouting racial and anti-gay slurs.
The sources told CNN that the two brothers are now cooperating fully with law enforcement.
Chicago police say the investigation has "shifted" after their interrogation of the brothers and they want to speak to Smollett again.
At least one of the brothers worked on Smollett's hit show "Empire."
Obabinjo Osundairo and Abimbola Osundairo were arrested Friday in connection with an alleged attack on the "Empire" actor.
However, a Chicago police spokesman said that the "media reports" of the attack being a hoax were "unconfirmed by case detectives."
Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Jussie Smollett turned over a PDF file containing a redacted record of phone calls, but he said the redactions were "extreme."
"Let me start by saying that I'm ok. My body is strong but my soul is stronger."
Jussie Smollett told CNN he fought back at the attackers.
