Just days after the Academy of Motion Pictures and Arts announced that disciplinary procedures had began in terms of the "slap heard around the world," when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage at the Academy Awards, Smith has announced his resignation from the Academy. Rick Montanez reports.
Next month, the Academy's board will vote whether to discipline Smith. Punishments may include suspension or expulsion.
