Massive Warehouse Fire Likely Caused Foul Odor In Carson, Authorities Say
Chemicals, including ethanol, from products that were stored in the burned warehouse went into the sewer system and entered the Dominguez Channel. That eventually lead to large amounts of hydrogen sulfide to be emitted into the air.
