A quarter-acre brushfire was quickly contained by firefighters Wednesday morning after burning through some brush off the side of the 110 Freeway near Dodger Stadium in Elysian Park.
The vehicle, a dark gray Scion, was believed to have slammed into the center divider on the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway before rolling several times. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
