Local News Small Plane Crashes Into Riverside Home February 27, 2017 / 9:07 PM PST / CBS News CBSLosAngeles The plane was carrying a family of five, two adults and three teens. CBSLosAngeles The crash happened in the 6000 block of Rhonda Road before 4:41 p.m. CBSLosAngeles CBSLosAngeles CBSLosAngeles One of the teens that survived was thrown from the wreckage when the plane split apart. She suffered minor injuries. CBSLosAngeles Two neighboring homes sustained damage in the crash and ensuing fire. CBSLosAngeles The crash occurred about a half-mile northeast of the airport. CBSLosAngeles The plane was headed from Riverside Municipal Airport to San Jose. CBSLosAngeles The plane was a Cessna 310.
