Facebook To Launch Video Chat System Powered By Skype
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Facebook CEO and President Mark Zuckerberg announced Wednesday that the popular social networking site is launching a video messaging system powered by Skype.
The new feature will also have a group chat function.
Facebook had only said Zuckerberg would be announcing "something awesome" Wednesday.
Wednesday's announcement comes a week after the launch of Google Plus, which is only available by invitation.
