Yorba Linda Man Accused Of Continuous Sexual Abuse Of Female Relative
SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — A Yorba Linda man is accused of repeated sexual abuse of a minor.
Police said Felipe Martinez Ruiz, 54, abused a female relative from the ages of 9-15.
Authorities said the alleged victim, now 17, came into the Santa Ana Police Department Wednesday to report the abuse.
Investigators said they were able to confirm that abuse had taken place.
Ruiz was arrested arrested on multiple counts of child sexual abuse.
Police said during questioning, the suspect confessed to the allegations.
Ruiz was booked into the Santa Ana Police Department jail and charged with lewd acts with a minor, lewd acts on a child 14 or 15 years of age with the suspect being at least 10 years older than the child, continuous sexual abuse and sexual penetration with a person under 16.
