Would-Be Teen Bank Robber Gets Cold Feet
GLENDALE (AP) — Authorities say a teenager who allegedly tried to rob a bank in Glendale apparently got cold feet and fled after passing a demand note to a teller.
Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said Saturday the male teen, who was about 15 years old, entered a Wells Fargo branch Friday morning and handed a teller the note.
Lorenz says as the teller stepped away, the teen, who appeared nervous, suddenly turned and left the bank.
The Los Angeles Times reports nobody was injured and no cash was taken in the incident. The contents of the note were not released.
Police are investigating.
