Woods Returns To Firestone After 3-Month Break
AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Tiger Woods says his health is as good as it's been in years as he returns to golf.
Woods has been gone from the PGA Tour for nearly three months.
He makes his return to competition this week at the Bridgestone Invitational, a World Golf Championship that he has won a record seven times.
He showed up Tuesday morning at dawn for nine holes of practice.
Woods says his expectations haven't changed and that he still expects to win -- even though he hasn't played since May 12, and he hasn't won any tournament since November of 2009 at the Australian Masters.
Asked what excites him, he said it was a chance to "beat these guys."
