Woodland Hills Man Held At Gunpoint In Home Invasion
WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — An investigation is underway after two suspects robbed a homeowner at gunpoint in his home Monday evening.
The incident took place around 6:50 p.m. in the 21300 block of Rios St near Woodland Hills Country Club.
Police said the male homeowner was outside when two man in a dark colored SUV approached him and asked a question. The men then reportedly showed the victim a gun and forced him back into his home.
The victim was reportedly forced to lie on the ground with a gun to his head as the other suspect ransacked the home.
Police said the two men got away with jewelry and an iPhone.
Neighbor John Nagle said he came upon what was a serious police response to the scene.
"I just moved in here six months ago, I thought I was moving somewhere safe," said Nagle. "I still think I have but yeah, it's a little crazy."
