Woman Fatally Shot During Carjacking In South Gate
SOUTH GATE (CBS) — A woman died in surgery after she was shot during a carjacking in South Gate early Friday morning.
Authorities were searching for a suspect after the incident, which was reported at 2:30 a.m. in the 8900 block of San Juan Avenue, South Gate police Sgt. Jonathan Sekiya said.
The suspect or suspects took the woman's black 2005 Infiniti Q56 sport utility vehicle, Sekiya said.
