Woman Shot Dead, Man Wounded Inside Thai Restaurant In Hollywood
HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Police say that they are still searching for two suspects who shot two people at a popular Thai restaurant in Hollywood Friday night.
The shooting occurred shortly after 10 p.m. inside The Pink Pepper, located at 1638 North La Brea Avenue, near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard.
Firefighters transferred the man and woman shot to area hospitals.
City News Service described the victims as a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s. Police did not release their identities.
Authorities announced Saturday that the woman died of her wounds and the man was expected to survive after undergoing surgery early that morning.
Police said the suspects are two male black adults wearing dark clothing and hoodies. Both men are described as 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. They reportedly fled in a black sedan.
