Woman Jumps From Anaheim Hotel Balcony To Escape Sexual Assault

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A woman jumped from the second-floor balcony of an Anaheim hotel early Wednesday to flee from a man who allegedly sexually assaulted her.

The unidentified victim, who was partially clothed, went to the Clarion Anaheim Hotel's lobby to report the assault around 5 a.m., according to Sgt. Bob Dunn of the Anaheim Police Department.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Dunn said the victim talked to the suspect online before they decided to meet at the hotel.

The assailant is described as being in his late 20s, 5-feet-7 to 6-feet tall, 170 to 180 pounds, with dread-locked hair.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS.
