Woman Found Dead At Brentwood Home
BRENTWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Police were investigating the death of a 89-year-old woman who was found dead at her home in Brentwood, authorities said Monday.
A gardener discovered the unidentified victim covered in blood at the residence along the 11500 block of Sunset Boulevard around 10:40 a.m., according to LAPD Media Relations.
Information from Los Angeles County Coroner's officials later indicated they were investigating the dead body of an 89-year-old woman who may have fallen at her home.
The woman possibly fell onto concrete in the backyard of the home just outside the kitchen door, according to the coroner's office.
"The preliminary conclusion is that she died as the result of an accident," said Los Angeles Police Officer Jack Richter.
