Woman Dies In Crash On 210 Freeway In Azusa
AZUSA (CBS) — A woman was killed and another person was seriously injured Thursday when a speeding car crashed on the 210 Freeway in Azusa, authorities said.
The accident occurred just after 2 a.m., when a white sedan crashed on the eastbound side of the freeway, just west of Azusa Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Lidia Kopach, 24, was killed in the crash, Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the coroner's office said.
The car was traveling at speeds of higher than 100 mph before it crashed and overturned, a witness told the CHP.
