Woman Dead, 4 Injured In Anaheim Head-On Crash
ANAHEIM (CBS) — A woman was killed Friday evening after the car she was driving slammed head-on into oncoming traffic in Anaheim.
The accident left another man in critical condition and his three passengers (all children) also injured, according to police.
Witnesses told police the women, driving a black Lincoln sedan, sped into the man driving a silver Mazda in the 2700 block of West Ball Road about 8:30 p.m., according to Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn.
The woman's car overturned and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The extent of the injuries of the passengers in the Mazda is not known but the man was airlifted to a trauma center.
A driver in a white Toyota was also involved in the crash but not injured.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the accident.
