Woman Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing, Pepper-Spraying Boyfriend
HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A 23-year-old woman was arrested Monday on suspicion of stabbing and pepper-spraying her boyfriend at Huntington State Beach.
Authorities responded to a report of a stabbing near Tower 28 around 2:45 p.m., according to Lt. John Domingo of the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Domingo said the suspect fled in a car, but police in a helicopter were able to track her until an officer pulled her over at Beach Boulevard. The woman was taken into custody without incident.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but was expected to recover.
The duo apparently got into "some kind of altercation" when the woman reportedly attacked her boyfriend, said Domingo.
