Wind Advisory To Be In Effect Through Saturday Morning
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A wind advisory is scheduled to be in effect for Los Angeles area mountains from Thursday morning at 10 a.m. until Saturday morning at 3 a.m.
The National Weather service says a strong jet stream will bring 20- to 35-mile-an-hour winds, with gusts reaching 50 miles per hour.
Officials say the strongest winds will be felt in the Interstate 5 corridor.
Gusty crosswinds could cause hazardous driving conditions, especially for high-profile vehicles such as big rigs or campers.
