William Shatner Visits KCAL9 To Discuss His New Album, Book
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — William Shatner visited KCAL9 Friday to discuss his new book and CD. Shatner will be at Amoeba Records (6400 West Sunset Boulevard) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday night to sign his new album, Seeking Major Tom.
Released earlier this week, it features space-themed rock songs like She Blinded Me With Science, Learning to Fly, and Iron Man with collaborator Zakk Wylde and guests including Peter Frampton, Bootsy Collins, Yes' Steve Howe, Ritchie Blackmore, Lyle Lovett, Brad Paisley, Steve Miller, Sheryl Crow, Johnny Winter and a host of other incredible artists.
His book, Shatner Rules: Your Guide to Understanding the Shatnerverse and the World at Large, also offers an inside look to his ever-evolving four-decade career. It's even filled with Rules, Fun Factners and the occasional "William Flashbackner."
