Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis Hit The 'Campaign' Trail
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Comedians Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis have hit the campaign trail – not for a Congressional seat, but for their new movie, "The Campaign."
The actors appeared at The Grove for a "debate" but didn't attack each other's stands on the economy or the environment – they mocked The Grove's carefully cultivated old time Main Street America look.
"Thank you for coming out to the 'Historic Grove'," Ferrell quipped.
"Yes, where even the homeless people are fake," Galifianakis said.
"Since 1850, when the Gap Family discovered this sacred plot of land," Ferrell said.
"The Baby Gap Family," Galifianakis said, correcting Ferrell.
"The Baby Gap Family. Sorry, I stand corrected," Ferrell said.
The film, which opens Aug. 10, is about a fictional campaign for Congress in North Carolina.
