Whitman: No Plans For 2012 White House Run

SACRAMENTO (CBS) — She hasn't even won yet, but that hasn't stopped the political rumor mill from grinding.

Pundits have suggested that Meg Whitman — whose campaign has already been dogged by allegations that she hired an illegal immigrant to work in her home — may have her eyes set on an even greater prize than the governor's mansion.

Whitman, who faces a contentious election battle with Democratic candidate Jerry Brown, says she's committed to fixing California first. The former eBay chief executive told the crowd at a Garden Grove firm this week that her "No. 1 priority is to restore the California dream for every Californian".
