West Covina Police Searching For Serial Rapist

WEST COVINA (CBS) — Investigators re-released a sketch Tuesday of a man wanted in connection with at least six sexual assaults since April 2000 in West Covina.

West Covina police believe the suspect raped six women, between 14 and 29-years-old, from April of 2000 through March of this year.

Authorities say the women were walking or jogging alone when the attacks occurred.

"It is possible there have been additional incidents that went unreported," according to the police statement.

After determining that all six attacks were carried out by the same suspect, police re-released a sketch first created when a 14-year-old girl was kidnapped and assaulted.

Anyone with information is asked to call the West Covina Police Department at (626) 939-8556, or the anonymous tip line at (626) 939-8688.
