Weddle Fined For Helmet-To-Helmet Hit On Pats' Gronkowski
SAN DIEGO (CBS) - The leagues highest paid safety Eric Weddle of the San Diego Chargers has been fined $15,000 for his helmet-to-helmet clash on New England's tight end Rob Gronkowski.
The hit came in the second quarter after Tom Brady threw a touchdown pass to Gronkowski.
This is the Chargers' second fine from the New England game. Nose tackle Antonio Garay was also fined $15,000 earlier this week for a late hit on Tom Brady.
