Walter Becker, Co-Founder Of Steely Dan, Dead At 67

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Walter Becker, who co-founded the Rock and Roll band Steely Dan, has died,

The Queens-born rocker was 67.

In addition to being the band's co-founder, Becker was also the guitarist and bassist.

Becker's death was announced on his official site, though no details were provided.

Steely Dan (named for a sex toy in a William Burroughs novel)  had a string of hits in the 70s and early 80s including "Reelin' in the Years, "Rikki Don't Lose That Number," "Hey Nineteen," "Do it Again," "FM" and "Deacon Blues."
