Vincent Jackson's Holdout Continues

(CBS) -- When will Vincent Jackson return to the NFL? The 27-year old WR is on the Roster-Exempt list, which carries a 3-game penalty after you sign a contract and since he already has a 3-game suspension,  the earliest we could see him in a game would be week 7.

Things  were looking promising last week when Jackson's agent said he came to a deal on a one-year contract with an unnamed NFL team.

However, the Chargers didn't accept the terms of the trade and things are getting ugly. It's now  likely Jackson will miss the entire season, which creates a huge problem for Jackson with the labor dispute looming large in 2011.

Here's the kicker, since he sat out 2010,  he would still be under contract with the Chargers for 1-year and back in the same place where we started.
