Victim Of Fatal Drive-By Shooting In Willowbrook Identified
WILLOWBROOK (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal drive-by shooting in Willowbrook.
Officials said Dominque Olds, 22, of Compton was gunned down about 4:05 p.m. Friday.
The shooting occurred in the 1700 block of East 117th Street, near Compton Avenue, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. John Corina.
Deputies responding to a shooting call found the victim in a parked car, Corina said.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A witness reported that Olds was seated in the car when a light- colored SUV drove up alongside and someone inside shot into the vehicle, Corina said.
"The SUV then drove away east on 117th Street and out of view," Corina said.
