Victim Injured During Overnight Robbery Near UCLA
WESTWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say one person was slightly injured Saturday during an overnight robbery near the UCLA campus in Westwood.
The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. on the 400 block of Landfair towards Gayley avenues.
According to a crime alert issued by the UCLA Police Department, two suspects approached unidentified victim who was walking northbound.
"One of the suspects grabbed the victim from behind and pinned his arms while the other suspect punched the victim multiple times," the alert said.
The suspects fled westbound on Gayley Avenue with the victim's property, including: a cellphone, wallet and car keys.
The alert said the victim is not affiliated with the school.
A description of the suspects was not immediately released.
