Ventura Police Searching For Suspects Who Stabbed Two Men
VENTURA (CBS) — Two 19-year-old men are recovering Friday from stab wounds they received after a fight in a Ventura park.
The stabbing happened Thursday night at Camino Real Park, the Ventura Police Department said.
Officials said that the two victims, Alex Myers and Andrew Martin, both of Ventura, were sitting on bleachers in the park when they were approached by one suspect who instigated a fight.
After the fight, the suspect left only to return later with two additional suspects who stabbed Myers and Martin, according to police. All three suspects then fled on foot.
Both victims underwent surgery at the Ventura County Medical Center for multiple stab wounds.
Police did not release a description of the suspects.
