Vehicle Plows Into Winnetka Building; 2 Injured

WINNETKA (CBSLA.com) — A vehicle Thursday careened into an apartment building in Winnetka, injuring two people.

The accident occurred around 9:15 p.m. at the two-story building in the 20400 block of Saticoy Street, according to Erik Scott, a representative for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Aerial footage showed a gaping hole in the complex, which was believed to be an apartment structure, after the crash.

Firefighters responded to the scene and transported two people to the hospital.

It was unclear whether they were inside the complex at the time, or inside the vehicle.

The cause of the crash was not known.
