Van Carrying Propane Tanks Explodes In Perris
PERRIS (CBS) — A van carrying at least two propane cannisters burst into flames Tuesday evening in Perris.
Officials tell CBS2 and KCAL9 that one firefighter sustained a "minor injury to his ear" battling the blaze.
The fire raged for an hour after it was first called in about 8:45 p.m.
It is not known what led to the van explosion.
Witnesses said the roof of the van landed about 30 feet from the vehicle.
The exploded van was located at Brown Street and Warren Road.
