USC Ranked 4th On Playboy's 'Top Party Schools' In US
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The University of Southern California isn't just one of the most competitive colleges in the U.S. — it's also one of the nation's top party schools, according to rankings released Wednesday.
USC has been ranked fourth on Playboy Magazine's list of the 2013 "Top 10 Party Schools", after West Virginia University (No. 1.), University of Wisconsin (No. 2), and University of Colorado (No. 3).
The ranking marked a fall of sorts for USC after the school was ranked second when Playboy last published its Top Party Schools list in October 2012.

The previous top-ranked party school, University of Virginia, failed to crack the top 10.
USC was the only school in California to make the list, which first debuted in Playboy's January 1987 issue with California State University-Chico taking the top spot.
The other schools named in the top 10 include: Florida State University; University of Texas; Louisiana State University; University of Georgia; Arizona State University, and University of Maryland.
