USC QB Matt Barkley Doesn't Regret Returning For His Senior Season
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Not much about Matt Barkley's senior season at Southern California has gone according to plan.
The quarterback certainly never expected he would walk down the Coliseum tunnel for his final home game with his right arm in a sling.
But Barkley isn't sorry he returned to USC, and he thinks more college players should take the same chance.
Barkley is still upbeat amid the disappointment of his final year with the Trojans (7-4, 5-4 Pac-12), who have plummeted out of the Top 25 after starting the season at No. 1.
Barkley won't play in the regular-season finale against top-ranked Notre Dame on Saturday after spraining his right shoulder last week in USC's loss to UCLA.
The Pac-12's career passing leader says one game won't define his record-setting career at USC.
