US Aircraft Carrier Used In Bin Laden Burial Headed For SoCal
SAN DIEGO (CBS) — The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier that reportedly buried the corpse of Osama Bin Laden at sea is expected to receive a hero's welcome when it returns to Coronado on Wednesday.
The U.S.S. Carl Vinson was in the North Arabian Sea in early May when it received a Navy SEAL team carrying the body of the accused mastermind of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
KNX 1070's Tom Reopelle reports that while commanding officer Capt. Bruce Lindsey would not discuss details of the burial, he did have plenty of praise for his crew.

"When we're poised like that, we treat every day like a work day, we come to work with our game faces on, and whatever mission we're assigned, we'll go ahead and execute that to the best of our ability," said Lindsey during a conference call with the media.
Lindsey had a more muted response for Bill Warren, a Fallbrook salvage diver who plans to go to the North Arabian Sea and find bin Laden's body to prove the terrorist is dead.
"That'll be an interesting mission," said Lindsey. "I hope he has a lot of money."
Warren, 59, said he's confident he'll find the body once the search begins in July.
