Upset Fantasy Football Owner Picks Fight With Todd Gurley On Twitter
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Coming into the 2016 NFL season, Rams running back Todd Gurley was one of the most popular picks in all of fantasy football.
In CBSSports.com fantasy leagues, Gurley has an average draft position of 3.22, which was the second-highest among all players in fantasy football behind Antonio Brown.
The NFL's reigning Offensive Rookie of The Year, though, hasn't lived up to his preseason hype, only rushing for 778 yards and five touchdowns thus far, making many of his owners upset with the lack of production.
After yet another loss by the Rams Thursday night and another lackluster performance from Gurley, one fantasy owner in particular had officially had enough with his first-round pick's production and took to Twitter to let the Pro Bowl running back hear it.
But as the saying goes, you should always be careful what you wish for, because the person you're calling out on Twitter might just call your bluff, and Gurley did just that.
It should have ended right there, but Twitter user Keith Stone had one last response for Gurley.
