Universal Studios Hosts Auditions For Tram Tour Guides
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — If you're looking for your big break into Hollywood, you may want to head down to Universal City Monday.
Universal Studios Hollywood will be hosting open call auditions for Studio Tour Guides, a position responsible for leading guests on the theme park's world-famous behind-the-scenes Studio Tour.
Candidates must have enthusiastic, outgoing and charismatic personalities with a performance or public speaking background, be knowledgeable of film and television, and be at least 18 years of age.
The park is seeking English, bilingual Spanish and bilingual Mandarin speaking candidates to lead guests on the long-running tour of the movie set backlot and one-of-a-kind special effects attractions, including the award-winning "King Kong 360-3D" created by Peter Jackson.
Some of the perks of working as a tour guide include intimate group symposiums with prestigious industry professionals, free professional acting classes, auditions for top industry casting directors, and free private screenings of Universal films.
The auditions will be held from 2-4 p.m. at the "VIP Experience" Lounge, located to the right of the park's main entrance at 100 Universal City Plaza
