TSA Choir To Perform At LAX
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Passengers may bah humbug at the pat-downs and body scanners, but certain TSA agents plan to lift their spirits with a few holiday songs at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday.
A group of 17 singers and musicians who all work as officers of the Transportation Security Administration will perform Wednesday at Terminal 4 of LAX at noon. Most performances are a surprise.
LAX's choir is just one of two across the country and the members are volunteer who practice and perform on their time off, according to USA Today. The group has been performing since 2003 and also sings patriotic music on Veterans Day, Memorial Day and other occasions.
