Triathlon To Affect Streets Near Torrance Beach On Sunday
TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — A portion of Palos Verdes Boulevard will be closed Sunday morning, and other streets near Torrance Beach will also be affected, as the city and Pacific Sports host the Herbalife Triathlon.
According to Torrance police, Palos Verdes Boulevard will be closed from 7 to 10 a.m., with only intermittent traffic allowed to pass through.
The bicycle course will travel through the upper Riviera neighborhood, also close some streets — including a long stretch of Calle de Arboles — between 7 and 10 a.m., while the run portion of the race will take place on Paseo de la Playa and hard-packed sand on Torrance Beach.
