Top LA Baseball Notables To Take ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has swept social media, and appears to be the biggest online "thing" since Tebowing (remember?). Essentially, it works by someone dumping ice-water over their heads, evidently excusing them to donating to Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis research, although some people dump water and donate anyway. The drenched individual then nominates his or her friends to take the challenge within 24 hours, and so on. While it has caused a touch of controversy in drought-ridden California, countless celebrities, politicians and athletes have taken part in the challenge. Personalities to dump ice-water on their heads, or have ice-water dumped on their heads, include Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin, former president George W. Bush, billionaire Bill Gates, singer Josh Groban, actor William Shatner, and many more.
We take a look at some LA baseball notables to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
