Timberlake, Jay-Z Concert Draws Thousands To Pasadena's Rose Bowl

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Thousands of people descended upon the historic Rose Bowl in the city of Pasadena on Sunday for a mega-concert featuring Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z.

The highly anticipated event was attended by an estimated 60,000 people.

But not everyone was excited. The concert raised concerns about a bottleneck of cars leaving the venue all at once.

"I'm not too happy about all this," said Leo Alvarez who has lived across the street from the stadium for 36 years.

"It's a nightmare. What you see now, in my own house, I feel like I'm in some kind of jail," he said.

Thousands of concert-goers decided to beat the traffic by tail-gating while others utilized public transportation.

"We came here early. Got the canopy and all our chairs and got the drinks," said Lenny Kabanlit.

Security at the stadium was also beefed up for the event. Bobby Kaple, reporting for KCAL9 said, only seven minor arrests were made.
