Tiger Woods May Be Adding Tournaments To His Schedule

JUPITER, Fla. (AP) -- Tiger Woods is thinking about adding another PGA Tour event to his schedule.

Woods failed to qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs that start this week in New Jersey for the top 125 players in the standings, meaning he is ineligible for tour events until October.

He says on his website Monday that he might add another tournament, and he is looking at options.

Woods also says he wants to be part of the Presidents Cup team in Australia the week before Thanksgiving.

He says that would depend on Fred Couples using a captain's pick on him.

Woods already is scheduled to play the Australian Open the week before the Presidents Cup.
